Partly Facetious: i'm beginning to like the man

"So three ambassadors at large have been fired?"
"Yes, and, wonder of wonders, courtesy Gilani again. I am beginning to like the man...his vacant parrot eyed look is a facade."
"Façade for what?"
"I am not sure yet but he sure fooled a lot of people."
"What are you trying to do? Make them fight? There is perfect amity between the two."
"What? You have taken over Sherry Rehman's job?"
"Not yet though I am told there are many who want her out."
"Well she is in a reserved seat for women and maybe the elected members want an elected member of parliament to be in that seat."
"No actually it is the unelected members of the inner coterie of the PPP co-chairmen who want her out."
"Oh well it's always one's own kind who lead the attack in this country."
"Don't say that. She is a nice lady and lets be honest she is honest to the best of her ability."
"To the best of her ability?"
"Her ability is pretty significant if you know what I mean but when you have to defend the indefensible then it gets hard and she's honest enough to falter when that happens."
"I see so Musharraf's three ambassadors' at large are out at last?"
"Finally and why the public exchequer paid for their protocol for the last ten months is beyond me."
"Maybe they did render some service to the present government?"
"May be and then again may be they just fell through the cracks for this long."
"The cracks were wide enough for the government to have known."
